There, she had a meeting with Hugh Welchman, known for the Oscar-nominated film Loving Vincent, to discuss the music rights of his film. This meeting led to a successful collaboration whereby Copyright Power International will now manage the music rights for “The Peasants” across Europe. “The Peasants” is the latest work from the creators of Loving Vincent and the Oscar-winning studio BreakThru Films. It is the result of four years of work by over 100 painters who created tens of thousands of unique painted film frames. The film’s score was composed by the acclaimed L.U.C. (Łukasz Rostkowski), featuring nearly 100 musicians from Slavic countries. The score combines folk, trance, classical, and film music, representing an innovative and diverse musical landscape that reflects the rich cultural heritage of the Slavic regions.
The original motion picture soundtrack has been streamed over 49 million times on Spotify, demonstrating the immense popularity and impact of the music.
